Dave Holland Quintet

The British bass player Dave Holland was in Miles Davis’ group with whom he recorded legendary records like Bitches Brew, In A Silent Way, Filles de Kilimanjaro, … He is a jazz musician in state of grace.

For many years, he has been voted by both the critics and the readers of Down Beat Magazine as the Best Bass Player, his Quintet as the Best Jazz Group and his Big Band as the Best Big Band. His quintet has become a reference for jazz during the last decade.
